Dennis Goettel

Dennis is a professional guitarist (electric and acoustic 6 string, 12-string), a player of the mandolin, bass and tenor banjo, as well as being a vocalist.

As a music instructor with over 30 years of experience in high school, collegiate, and private teaching settings, Dennis has been successful teaching and directing a wide array of music classes and ensembles.

He has experience as a pit guitarist for area musicals*, performance experience in a variety of venues with rock, pop and jazz bands, and as a soloist. Most recent shows include: “Next to Normal”, Little Shop of Horrors”, “Addams Family”, “Legally Blonde”, “Grease”, “Legally Blonde”, “Momma Mia!”

He has performed with various jazz-pop bands throughout Central New York, and currently performs as a soloist.

Individual lessons for beginning through advanced levels. Students have been admitted to college level music programs, have performed publicly and served as pit musicians for school musicals.
